How to pull content from Freshdesk KB to Lingpad

How to Import Your Freshdesk KB Articles to Lingpad

After successfully creating the integration project, Lingpad can access your KB articles for localization. You can start pulling and importing articles to our systems.

The fetched articles will be imported to the Cabinet; a place to store your content for Lingpad to begin translation. Let's dive into the steps of importing your Freshdesk help center articles to Lingpad:

How to Pull Content From Freshdesk KB to Lingpad Cabinet

1. Open the Space with Freshdesk KB translation project and click on View Project.

2. Go into the Pull tab and click the Pull Now button to start fetching all the categories, folders, and articles available on your Freshdesk KB.

3. Now select the desired categories, folders, and articles you want to translate and click the Pull button to import them into the Cabinet. You can also use the search button to find and select articles.

4. Check all the pulled content and languages for translation in the Cabinet and Languages tab respectively.

5. Add Translation Memory at the project or the organization level before moving to the Translate step. You can also add a Glossary at the organization level and use it for added languages at the project level. See this article on how to add TM and Glossary.

Note: Once the articles are imported, you can skip the manual Translate and Push steps and automate the whole translation process.
