How to Automate Your Freshdesk KB Localization with Lingpad
Providing your global customers with the necessary information in their native languages is a crucial element of your CX strategy. However, all your Freshdesk Knowledge Base articles are written in English or any other language, and you want to translate them into a set of other languages.
Additionally, you want to ensure that any modification or update in those articles is reflected in the translated articles. Lingpad's automation feature allows you to effortlessly sync your modified articles, and keep your translated content updated.
Now, automate your help center translation project and let Lingpad handle everything for you. Here's a step-by-step process to set up content localization automation for your Freshdesk Knowledge Base:
1. Navigate to the Automation tab from your Freshdesk help center translation project. Once there, you'll find individual Pull, Translate, and Push tabs to enable automations.
2. Turn the Auto-pull access toggle on to import the updated content from Freshdesk KB for articles already present in 'Cabinet.' This will allow Lingpad to automatically import articles every 24 hours at ± 00:00 UTC approximately.
3. Next, navigate to the Translate tab from above and turn Auto-translate access toggle on to translate your articles automatically. Select the default status and languages for AI content translation.
Note: Select the default status as Approved if you want to auto-push all the translated content.
4. Now, turn the Auto-push access toggle on from the Push tab to export the translated content to Freshdesk KB automatically. Select the languages and status for the pushed content and click on the Save button.
Note:Current status is where articles are pushed based on their status in Freshdesk KB. Drafts only will push content in drafts, and Published only will push content as Published, irrespective of their current status on Freshdesk KB.
