Lingpad allows you to add team members to your organization, spaces, and integration projects with various roles and accesses to perform different tasks. The best thing is that adding new users is free, and you don't have to pay an additional fee per user added, only for the translation tasks they perform.
You can add a new user for an individual space or organization level such as an Admin, Manager, Organizer, Translator, or Proofreader. Here's what each role entails:
Admin
Admins will have complete access to the organization and its projects. They can add new spaces and integration projects, and modify the organization settings. Moreover, they can add or remove users or team members to the organization and assign them the roles of manager, organizer, translator, and proofreader.
Only the existing admins of the organization can add new admins from their organization settings. The new admin users can do everything the primary admins can. They can create new integrations for help center and messaging or translate content through file-type projects.
Manager
Managers have access to the Spaces as permitted by the admin of that organization. They can access the integration and file-type projects, perform pull, translate, and push operations in help center integration, and even set up automation for the same.
Managers can add new spaces, create integration projects, and add users with organizer, translator, or proofreader access. They can also enable/disable agent permission in the messaging integration. However, they cannot access organization settings such as users, billing details, AI translation, TM, and Glossary.
Organizer
Organizers will have access to integration projects that are allowed by the admin or manager. They can access allowed spaces and projects within them but can't create new spaces and integration projects.
Organizers can only create file-type translation projects and translate the pulled content if the admin has enabled AI translation. They can't pull or push the articles from the respective support platforms.
Moreover, they can't modify the agent permission in messaging integration or access the organization settings such as users, billing details, AI translation, TM, and Glossary.
Translator
Translators will have access to the languages of individual projects assigned by the admin, manager, or organizer. They can translate the content manually by opening the editor or make changes to AI-translated content and approve the same.
Translators can't create new spaces or projects, run pull, push, or AI content translation, or automate the translation for the help center project. They also cannot access organization settings such as users, billing details, AI translation, TM, and Glossary.
Proofreader
The proofreader will have access to the languages of individual help center projects assigned by the admin, manager, or organizer. Similar to the translator, they can translate or edit the content manually or modify the AI-translated content and approve the same.
Proofreaders can't create new spaces or projects, pull or push content, or automate the translation for help center projects. They cannot access the organization settings either.
