How to Automate Your Intercom Article Localization with Lingpad

Translating your comprehensive Intercom knowledge base articles is complex yet important. You want to provide your customers with the right information at the right time in the right language and boost your CSAT and NPS scores.

This also means updating your articles in all languages whenever your support or brand policies are updated or modified. However, this isn't going to be effortless without Lingpad Automation.

Now, automate your content translation process and keep your articles updated worry-free. Just set up the whole process once and let Lingpad take care of the localization. Here's how you can set up content localization automation for Intercom Articles:

How to Automate Your Intercom Articles Translation

After importing articles to the Cabinet, you can skip the Translate and Push steps to automate the whole translation process. Let's see how:

1. From your Intercom project screen, navigate to the Automation tab. There, you'll find individual Pull, Translate, and Push tabs to enable automation.

2. Turn the Auto-pull access toggle on to import the updated content from Intercom for articles already present in 'Cabinet.' This will allow Lingpad to import articles automatically every 24 hours, approximately at ± 00:00 UTC.

3. Next, navigate to the Translate tab from above and turn Auto-translate access toggle on to translate your articles automatically. Select the default status and languages for AI content translation.

Note: Select the default status as Approved if you want to auto-push all the translated content.

4. Now, turn the Auto-push access toggle on from the Push tab to export the translated content to Intercom automatically. Select the languages and status for the pushed content and click on the Save button.

Note: 'Current status' is where articles are pushed based on their status in Intercom. 'Drafts only' will push content in drafts, and 'Published only' will push content as Published, irrespective of their current status on Intercom.
