How to Import Zendesk Guide Articles to Your Lingpad Account

Once you have created a project and authorized Lingpad to access your Zendesk Guide articles, it becomes your one-stop shop for localizing the content. To begin, you first need to pull or fetch your articles from Zendesk Guide to Lingpad.

The articles will be imported to the Cabinet, a place to store the content for Lingpad to proceed with the translation. Now let's see the step-by-step process to pull Zendesk Guide content in your Lingpad Cabinet:

How to Pull Zendesk Guide Content to Lingpad Cabinet

1. Open your Zendesk Guide translation project by clicking on View Project.

2. Go to the Pull tab from the side panel and click the Pull Now button to start fetching all the Categories, Sections, and Articles available on your Zendesk Guide.

3. Now select the desired categories, sections, or articles you want to localize and click the Pull button to store them in the Cabinet. You can also use search to find and select articles.

4. Check all the pulled content and languages for translation in the Cabinet and Languages tab.

5. Add Translation Memory at the project or the organization level before moving to the Translate step. You can also add a Glossary at the organization level and use it at the project level during translation for the added languages. See this article on how to add TM and Glossary.
