How to Create Freshdesk Support Translation Project on Lingpad

The previous article explained, how you can get started and install the Lingpad app from the Freshdesk Marketplace. Now, let's understand how to create an integration project for Freshdesk Support ticket translations:

How to Integrate Lingpad with Freshdesk Support Desk

Whether you have subscribed to Lingpad or are using it during a 7-day trial, here's a step-by-step process to create a project for Freshdesk Support Desk localization:

1. Login to your Lingpad account or create one if you don't already have one.

2. From your dashboard screen, click on the (+) icon from the Messaging card.

3. This will open a side panel from where you can select a space or add a new one, enter a project title, and select the Freshdesk Support Desk for integration.

Note: Spaces are a collection of projects. They streamline the accessibility and management of different projects you create within Lingpad.
4. For Freshdesk, you will need to add the API key and subdomain details and click Connect.

Note: The API Key is a unique key for your active Freshdesk Account. You can find it under User Profile Icon (at the top-right corner of your screen) > Profile Settings > View API Key.

5. Clicking connect will create a Freshdesk Support Desk messaging localization project.

6. Lastly, give your agents necessary permission to use the Lingpad app for AI translation. Go to the 'Agent Permission' settings from your project and click on the checkboxes from the 'Access' column to give desired agents the permission to use the Lingpad app.
