Getting Started with Intercom Articles for Admins

The Lingpad X Intercom Articles integration is a scalable solution to localize, manage and update your knowledge base articles stored on your Intercom Articles workspace. A single source of truth to automate your multilingual customer service efficiently! You can set up the Intercom Articles project on your Lingpad account in 7 easy steps. Scroll down to the section after the video tutorial for a detailed step-by-step guide.

Create Intercom Articles integration project on Lingpad

  1. Search for Lingpad on Intercom Marketplace and install it. 
  2. Head to https://app.lingpad.com and log in/sign up to your account. 
  3. Create an Intercom Articles Integration Project in the relevant space on Lingpad. (Learn how to create a space here.)

  4. Select the default Help Center language on Intercom as your source language and additional supported language(s) as your target language(s). Click Connect.
    Note: Lingpad cannot automatically import the supported languages of your workspace due to Intercom limitations. This means that if you decide to add a new language in the future, you will have to add the relevant language to the 'Language' tab to notify Lingpad of the addition. 
  5. You will be redirected to the Intercom page - log in to your Intercom account to authenticate the integration.

  6. Select the workspace you wish to integrate if you have more than one workspace.
  7. Allow Lingpad to access Intercom. Click “Authorize access” in the pop-up.

Voila! Your Intercom Articles X Lingpad integration is successfully set up!
