Uploading a file

Uploading files

You can upload files to Lingpad either while creating a project or after you're done creating it.

To upload a file, click on  File Upload.  Then, upload a file from your computer or by dragging and dropping a file to Lingpad.

Learn more about our  supported file types

While your file is uploading, you will be able to see its progress in a circular icon in the row containing your file name. The number inside the icon indicates what percentage of the file upload is complete. Once your file is successfully uploaded, the icon will be replaced by a green tick, or a yellow exclamation mark and a button that reads Configure.

If a red exclamation mark appears in the row containing the new file upload, it means that the file format is not accepted by Lingpad. Please get in touch with our team via email for further assistance.

Proceed by clicking the button and configuring your file .  Once complete, an icon with a green tick mark will appear, and you will be able to see the total word count of your uploaded file. To remove a configured file, click on the cross icon at the extreme left in each row.

To continue uploading files, click on the Add More Files button on the bottom of your screen.
