Manage Glossaries

Now that you have created a Glossary, the next step is to add relevant terms to it.

Add Glossary Terms

  1. To add terms to the created glossary, click on the three dots in the right corner. Click 'Manage Term'.
    Manage Term

  2. To add industry or brand-specific terms to the created glossary, you can either add each term one by one or if you have a pre-existing glossary, add the glossary terms as an .xlsx file.
    Add terms to Glossary
    1. Add Term: You can add single terms specific to your requirement with this feature. You can specify the following term details when adding glossary terms.
    2. Term details:
      1. Term: The term you wish to add to the glossary
      2. Part of speech: grammatical properties of the term e.g., noun, verb, adjective, etc.
      3. Description: description of the term
      4. Image: Relevant image (if required)
      5. Target language(s) terms: translations of the term in the respective language(s)
        Add Terms
Note: While adding new terms, it is mandatory to add the relevant term translation to atleast one of the Target languages field.

Once these details have been filled, click 'Add Term'.
    1. Upload .xlsx file: One the file is uploaded, you will have to assign relevant headers to each column in the sheet. You will be able to assign relevant term details right from here. Click 'Configure' and voila, your Glossary file is uploaded and the terms are configured!
Note: If due to unforeseen circumstances,  certain term(s) could not be uploaded to the glossary; an email with the ignored terms and instructions for re-uploading will be sent to your email id.
Tip: If there is an expand icon next to your term, it means that there are details added to the associated term.
