Lingpad App Settings for the particular conversation
The Settings that are available for modification on the Lingpad App on Inbox are:
Auto Detection
Translation of inbound tickets is disabled by default. You need to enable this if you require AI-powered translation of the inbound message to your default language. The selection preference will be applied only to the current conversation.

How to use Lingpad App to request AI-powered translations
When you come across a multilingual ticket and the customer's language and your default language are different, follow these steps:
Step 1: Auto-detection
You need to enable the 'Auto Detection' toggle to detect the customer's language and receive AI-powered translations of the inbound ticket.
i. If the language of the ticket has been accurately detected, and the inbound ticket has been translated, you can respond to the customer as per Step 2 mentioned below.
ii. If the language of the ticket is different from the one automatically detected by the system, you need to change the customer language by selecting the relevant language from the drop-down menu. It is important to ensure that the customer language is correct before placing an AI-powered translation order.
Step 2: Type In Your Response
In the Reply tab, select 'Note' and type '!' and then add your response. Click 'Add Note' to order AI-powered translations. The translated reply will be sent to the customer automatically.

Note: If you are unable to place the order, reach out to your organization's Admin to make sure the preferred translation method is set as 'AI-powered Translations' on Lingpad.

Review Translations
If you would like to review translation before the reply is sent to the customer, select 'Note' as would usually do for requesting an AI-powered translation. Type '!!' and then add your response. Click 'Add Note' to order AI-powered translations.
The translation will appear in the 'Note' section.
After reviewing, send your translated reply to the customer.
