How to Get App ID and API Key to Connect Extension with Your Lingpad Account

After you have installed the AI Translation by Lingpad extension to your Chrome browser, next let's see how to authenticate and connect the same with your Lingpad account.

How to Connect Lingpad Extension with Your Account?

1. Log in to your Lingpad account or create one.

Note: Please note that you'll need an active subscription to one of our translation products from Messaging, Help Center, or Document localization, and a sufficient number of AI credits to use the extension for translation.

2. From your Lingpad home screen, click on the (+) icon from the browser extension card.

3. This will open a side panel from where you can select or add a space, enter a project title, and click on the Connect button.

4. Once you click on Connect, the extension project will be created successfully.

5. Open your Chrome extension project and navigate to the API Authentication page from the sidebar.

6. Here, you will find your App ID and API Key to authenticate the extension with your Lingpad account. Copy these codes, paste them to your extension, and click on Connect.

7. Once you click Connect, the extension will be authenticated successfully with your Lingpad account so you can start using the same for translation.
